Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix recently appeared on The Jennifer Hudson Show, where she talked about her experience on Season 32 of Dancing with the Stars. She called it the “biggest blessing” in her life right now.
Ariana Madix Talks About Her DWTS Experience
Madix is currently competing on DWTS Season 32 with partner Pasha Pashkov. The reality star is coming out of a rough time earlier this year, as her ex-boyfriend Tom Sandoval’s cheating scandal played out on the show.
“Dancing with the Stars has been the biggest blessing and the most amazing experience,” Madix told Hudson about what the show means to her. “And so I’m just so grateful to be able to be there from week to week so far, and I hope I’m able to stay longer, because it is the most rewarding experience.”
Madix called herself a “hard worker,” adding that she’s “putting that hard work ethic to use” by competing week to week in the ballroom. She said she’s “able to see the payoff from the hard work.”
The star has been doing well in the competition so far, earning her first 10 of the season from judge Bruno Tonioli during Monster Night on Halloween. This week, she and Pashkov will be dancing the Paso Doble to “Queen of the Night” for Whitney Houston Night.

Madix Dreamed of Being on Broadway
Madix told Hudson about majoring in theater and having dreams of performing on Broadway. She moved from New York to Los Angeles and took acting classes. Madix said she had “no connections” in the industry.
Her acting teacher gave her the advice, “If Martin Scorsese is not banging down your door to try to cast you in a movie or something, you need to say yes to the opportunities that are presented to you and just make what you can of it.”
Madix said that choosing to join the cast of Vanderpump Rules “opened up so many doors.” The new season of the show will premiere in January 2024 on Bravo.
