“I feel like all of our life experiences and choices, and ups and downs, have led us to each other and this is the moment where the people we love most get to see us truly make the leap,” Hoying said. “I knew pretty early on that Mark was my dream man and I genuinely feel like the luckiest man on earth to get to marry him.”

The couple said they wanted their wedding to be a “timeless, unique experience,” and they chose the Santa Monica seaside after celebrating Manio’s birthday there. Hoying shared that some of their “favorite, romantic, lifelong memories together are by the beach.”

As the couple walked down the aisle together, singer Kina Grannis performed “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” as she did in the movie Crazy Rich Asians. Hoying explained, “That’s our favorite love song of all time from our favorite scene of our favorite movie.”

Hoying Performed a Song for His New Husband

During the wedding reception, Hoying serenaded Manio with a performance of his new song “Four.” He shared a video of the romantic moment on Instagram, writing, “easily the best day of our lives.”

“The song is one of my favorite songs I have ever written, as it is a love letter I dedicated to Mark after we had dated for four years, and I can barely sing it without crying,” Hoying told People of the track, which is available for streaming.

The couple also had their first dance to “Never Enough” from The Greatest Showman, performed by none other than Loren Allred herself. Hoying said he and Manio listened to the song “on repeat when we were first falling in love.”
