Sharna Burgess and Brian Austin Green got engaged last year, but fans shouldn’t expect them to tie the knot any time soon. Burgess recently told Cheryl Burke that they’re in “no rush” to get married, and a wedding probably won’t happen until 2026.

Burgess, a former Dancing with the Stars pro, was recently a guest on Cheryl Burke’s podcast Sex, Lies, and Spray Tans. During their conversation, Burgess revealed that it would be “probably about two years” before she and Green get married.

The couple first met in 2020 and competed together on DWTS Season 30 the next year. They welcomed a son named Zane in 2022. Green also has three children with his ex-wife Megan Fox and one with his ex-girlfriend Vanessa Marcil. Last year, Burgess and Green announced announced that they’re engaged.

“This year is stacked for us. So, we’re not even in the middle of planning. And, in all honesty, I shall be having someone else do the planning for me,” Burgess told Burke of their nuptials, according to Heavy. “We’re in no rush. I got the ring. I’m good.”

Does the Couple Want More Children Together?

Burgess and Green are in no rush to get married, and they’re also in no rush to have more children together. Green recently opened up about his decision to get a vasectomy after welcoming his and Burgess’ son Zane.

During an episode of the couple’s Oldish podcast, Green shared, “I love my kids, and I wasn’t against any of them, but I’ve never experienced that thing of looking at a pregnancy test and hoping that it’s positive and preparing that way.”

Burgess added that their lives are “very, very busy” at the moment, so they don’t have immediate plans to welcome more kids, although they haven’t ruled it out entirely. Burgess said they might end up trying IVF to conceive again.
