The Masked Singer Season 8 returned on Wednesday night for TV Theme Night, as Harp defended her title of Queen and made it into the Semifinals. The episode also featured two unmaskings, as we learned who was under the costumes for Mummies and Fortune Teller.

Mummies, Fortune Teller Unmasked on The Masked Singer

The first performance of the night was from the three Mummies, who performed an updated version of “The Monkees” theme song. Guesses included the Lawrence Brothers, the brothers from Home Improvement, and the Brady Bunch brothers.

Nicole Scherzinger turned out to be correct in guessing the Brady bros, as Mummies turned out to be Barry Williams, Christopher Knight, and Mike Lookinland. After revealing their identities, they performed the classic Brady Bunch song “It’s a Sunshine Day.”

Later in the episode, Fortune Teller took the stage, stepping out of his box to perform “Movin’ On Up” from The Jeffersons. Guesses included Ryan Seacrest, Damon Dash, and even Ray J. But only Ken Jeong was correct in guessing it was FUBU founder and Shark Tank star Daymond John.

Harp Moves on to the Semifinals

Wednesday marked Harp’s third episode, as she defended the title of Queen of The Masked Singer. This week, she performed “Thank You for Being a Friend” from The Golden Girls. She and Fortune Teller ended up as the two contestants to fight it out in a Battle Royale.

The two stars performed “Everywhere You Look” from Full House in their own styles. Harp put an emotional spin on the tune, which made Jeong cry. When host Nick Cannon asked about it, he spoke about late actor Bob Saget, who appeared on the show as Squiggly Monster.

The moment was especially meaningful since Full House star Jodie Sweetin was a guest star on tonight’s show, offering a clue for Fortune Teller. The Masked Singer alum Tori Spelling (aka Unicorn) also made an appearance.

Who will join Harp in the Semifinals later this season? We’ll have to wait and see as a new batch of contestants takes the stage next week at 8/7c on FOX.
