On Tuesday night, The Voice aired the results show for Season 20‘s Semifinals, as the Top 9 was narrowed down to the Top 5 heading into next week’s Finals. America voted for their favorites overnight after hearing Monday’s performances.

One artist from each team was sent to the Finals thanks to America’s vote. Tonight’s episode also featured another Instant Save vote, as the remaining five artists vied for the final spot.

‘The Voice’ Results: Who’s in the Top 5?

One artist on each The Voice team made it through thanks to America’s vote during the results. The first four contestants who made it through were as follows:

Team Kelly: Kenzie Wheeler

Team Legend: Victor Solomon

Team Nick: Rachel Mac

Team Blake: Cam Anthony

There were some emotional moments from the artists as they waited for the results. Team Legend artist Pia Renee paid tearful tribute to her mother, who passed away while she was competing in the show. Team Nick’s Rachel Mac also shared a message for young people who may be struggling, letting them know that their “feelings are valid, but they don’t define you.”

Blake Shelton, meanwhile, might be regretting his prediction about Kenzie Wheeler even more this week. He’s said that the country star could win the whole show, and the viewers seem to agree with him.

Jake Hoot and Kelly Clarkson Perform Their Duet

Season 17 The Voice winner Jake Hoot returned to the stage to perform with his coach Kelly Clarkson during the results show. The pair performed their duet “I Would’ve Loved You,” which they released earlier this year. Just when we thought the performance was over, Clarkson hit an incredible high note.

It’s the second reunion between a former contestant and their coach on the show this week. On Monday night, Season 19 finalist Ian Flanigan teamed up with his coach Blake Shelton to perform their song “Grow Up.”

Who Won the Instant Save?

The remaining five artists performed one song each, and viewers had five minutes to vote for their favorite. The artists who were up for the Instant Save vote on Tuesday night were Gihanna Zoë (Team Kelly), Corey Ward (Team Kelly), Pia Renee (Team Legend), Dana Monique (Team Nick), and Jordan Matthew Young (Team Blake).

America voted Jordan Matthew Young as the wildcard to complete the Top 5. He sang “Drift Away” for his Instant Save performance. Shelton told him he was “born in the wrong decade,” joking that he “wishes it was 1975.”

Because Jordan is on Team Blake, Shelton now has two artists in the Finals, whereas the other coaches have one artist each. Will the veteran coach earn another win after losing to fiancée Gwen Stefani last season?

The Top 5 artists will perform next Monday night at 8 p.m. ET on NBC. Then on Tuesday, the winner of The Voice Season 20 will be revealed.
